Celebrating Baptism

Baptism is an outward expression of someone’s decision to follow Jesus, and it is beautiful! As a campus, we recently got to celebrate with Nadea as she took her next step in baptism. Read her story in her own words: 

“Before Jesus, my life was dark and painfully heavy. Every day felt like I was carrying a weight I couldn’t put down. I had lost my spark, my sense of direction, and most of all my identity. I didn’t know who I was, and I couldn’t see any purpose in waking up each day. 

But God stepped into my brokenness. He led me to NewSpring Church during a week where I truly believed I had no reason left to live. That was no accident; that was His love. 

God surrounded me with a community and women who genuinely love and care about me. Through them, He showed me that I am loved and seen. God showed me that what the enemy meant for evil, He would always turn for good.

Today, I choose to publicly declare my faith in Jesus, not just as a symbol, but as a commitment to walk with Him for the rest of my life.”
