People of all ages can apply for a trip! In some cases, trips may have a specific age requirement (for example, a trip with Fuse, our student ministry), but that will be clearly communicated.

NewSpring Mission Trips vary in length. Domestic trips are often the shortest, while international trips can be 7 to 10 days. All of these trip timelines also include travel.

Trips within the US and Puerto Rico do not require a passport, but do need a REAL ID (or another acceptable alternative) to fly domestically in the U.S. You can use a U.S. passport, a U.S. passport card, or a military ID instead of a REAL ID. If you do not have these, you can still fly by paying a $45 fee to use the TSA ConfirmID verification process at the airport. Traveling outside the United States requires an up-to-date passport. Please visit the CDC website for the country you are traveling to and consult your primary care doctor to get the vaccinations. These are not included in the trip cost.

All of our trips work with local, trusted partners and each trip will have an accompanying safety team member. We cannot guarantee your safety, but we will do our best to ensure your physical, emotional, and spiritual safety throughout any trip.
