A Prayer for Our Nation and the World

As our nation approaches the celebration of July Fourth this week, will you join us in prayer for our nation? And as we go to the Lord in prayer, we continue to lift up our brothers and sisters across the world, specifically in Venezuela:

A prayer for our nation from Psalm 90: “Lord, awaken our nation into holiness and remind our souls that only You can satisfy. May a song of praise ignite across this country. May the inheritance of our nation be stories of Your goodness and faithfulness passed down through generations. Lord, would you bring peace, freedom, and blessing into the world as Your people seek Your face and partner with You in bringing Your kingdom, on earth as it is in heaven? Amen.” 

As we continue to pray for the country of Venezuela, here is a prayer from Psalm 121: “Lord, we lift our eyes to You, our ultimate Helper and Healer. We lift up our brothers and sisters in Venezuela, knowing that You hold them in the palm of Your hands. We ask for supernatural healing and hope to pour across the land. Empower Your Church, Lord, and do not let their feet be moved. May they stand firm in steady surrender and service, clinging to You for hope. We believe You are keeping Your people, and we ask for restoration in Your name. Amen.”
