Missions Internship

Anderson, SC

Play a part in the Great Commission by caring for and praying with our missionary partners around the world, elevating the culture of missions across South Carolina, and planning and executing trips for each campus.

Every campus will be taking a NewSpring Missions trip in 2026. This role will assist in meeting with campuses to plan, onboard, and send off all 13 of these trips (including coordinating trainings, managing signups, preparing and training participants, and ensuring smooth communication between campuses and global partners).

Sit in recurring missionary care meetings with current partners to pray, encourage, and meet practical needs—such as planning travel back to the States for fundraising or furloughs.

Collaborate with the web team to create, update, and oversee online signups for mission trips and events.

Track and communicate trip logistics (deadlines, forms, payments, trainings) to campus staff and participants.

Partner with the communications and creative teams to promote missions initiatives across platforms (announcements, videos, emails, etc.).

Maintain consistent contact with campus missions representatives to provide resources, answer questions, and ensure alignment with central missions strategy.

Assist in documenting and sharing stories from missionaries and trips to highlight God’s work and inspire engagement.

Provide administrative support for missions-related budgets, schedules, and reporting.

Display professional communication skills as we navigate existing partnerships and coordinate and meet new workers in the Kingdom in a cross-cultural environment.

Meet with campuses to help discern, plan and bring to reality what is possible to mobilize and activate members of our church into a deeper everyday relationship with Jesus through seeing more of His Bride, the Church.

Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
